UX Design UNESCO Website
The challenge.
To support and guide developing countries build sustainable systems to formally accredit workers who are skilled but without formal qualifications. The system aims to contribute to smoother worker migration and poverty reduction.
The Process.
First, I determined the target audience for the website: francophone and anglophone technical experts in the field of education, already familiar with our website. As the website would house a large quantity of resources and documents I developed a clear information architecture. I defined, sketched out and user tested multiple variations of the website.
The Result.
A website which provides users with a guided, step-by-step journey on how to develop a national recognition of prior learning system. The website seamlessly integrates into UNESCO’s existing architecture, and adheres to the Organisation’s clear user interface and branding guidelines.
